As an avid angler, I reached out to the social platforms for recommendations of a good guide in the Southwest Missouri area. I messaged multiple pages and guides that were recommended through my initial post. Jordan answered any and every question as well as gave me the advice to catch my target fish for a month straight until I booked a trip with him! It was a comforting feeling having a guide that was willing to help with or without the paycheck. I’ve used guides 11 times all over the world and the seven hours I spent in Jordan’s boat were godsent. Oh and we caught em. In a six hour trip that turned into 7, when conditions weren’t in our favor, we caught trophy walleye and I caught my first Striper! A true guide has so much pressure on them rather it’s for table fare or the idea of making a living on it. Jordan is now a lifelong friend and offers a wealth of knowledge which most guides hesitate to make public! 5 stars, all earned!

Jordan was extremely responsive, friendly, and thorough. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure he fully understood what we wanted from our fishing trip. He went above and beyond to prepare and give us the best possible chance at catching the big trout we were after. He was knowledgeable, personable, and patient, teaching us how to spot bites and what to do to land fish. It’s clear he truly loves fishing and cares about the area, the fish, and the overall experience. He was especially committed to helping my son achieve his goal of catching a trophy trout, while still making sure we had fun and caught plenty of smaller fish along the way. We feel very fortunate to have chosen Jordan as our guide, and my son is already looking forward to going again!

Trip - Half Day Guided Fishing Trip In Branson - Crappie, Bass And More on July 14, 2025

Jordan was a great guide. We told him we wanted to get into trout since we don’t have a lot of them back home. He got us right on the fish and we caught our limit. Very down to earth and easy going, made for a great time. Will be back in the future.

I can’t recommend Freedom Fishing Guide Service enough! If you’re looking to create memories for yourself, or your family do yourself a favor and book a trip! You will not regret it. Took my 5 y/o son and we had an absolute blast! He’s still talking about it 3 days later. Thanks to our Guide Jordan who put us on the fish right from the start. We stayed out for 6 hours and when we were wrapping in up my son was begging me for just a couple more fish. A 5y/o after 6 hours begging to keep going should speak volumes of the time he was having. Thanks again, Jordan! We’ll be booking many more trips.
